Oracle постоянно грузит диск
Поставил дома Oracle 11r1 (на win7 машинка i5 16Гб пам.)
Так вот при запуске базы оракл начинает постоянно что-то писать на диск.
(с базой при этом не работаю).

На что думаю: поставил скрипт (создать тестовую среду), ну думал минут за 20 проскочит.
Натуро проснулся скрипт все еще гонится - я ошибся в нолике и получилось, что я попытался вставить в тестовую таблицу пять миллиардов записей )))
Сессию не стал убивать, т.к. понимал, что откат займет еще больше времени.
Но поступил еще более варварским способом - просто вырубил комп (сильно не пинайте) :)

Так вот теперь база уже третий день при включении компа что-то пишет на диск - мне очень жалко его, он воет и трещит из полседних сил :) Не знаю, может оракл накатывает логи или что для отката данных...
Короче как бы понять в чем причина и прекратить эту запись на диск.
Или в моем случае остается только ждать? )
Кстати и раньше оракл как-то очень и очень активно работал с диском при том, что с базой никто не работал.
Как бы отмониторить что происходит?

Должен же быть какой-то порядок действий в этой ситуации, чтобы выяснить почему все время трещит винт?
Под рукой нет ни спотлайта какого-нибудь, и вообще никаких визуальных средств похоже.
Только PL/SQLDeveloper...

если это твой тестовая машина, быстрое решение проблемы это сносить и заново установить оракл. Если именно причину найти, наверно лучше обратиться поддержку.

Затем в концепты - разбираться, что по этому поводу стал делать оракель.

авторБольшинство из них можно отключить. Запускаться начинает существенно быстрее.

А можно ещё написать SR, чтобы в следующем релизе их сразу выключенными создавали

И, кстати, я знаю ещё пару десятков вариантов, как можно существенно ускорить запуск, да и работу, Оракла. Вот только никому не посоветую применять это на практике, особенно в продакшене.

проходил мимо..., увидел - пара советов.
1) А Oracle ли виноват? Остановите БД и оракловые сервисы, и проверьте дёргает кто то диск или нет. Если у вас винда поставьте какой нибудь таскменеджер который показывает не только загрузку ЦП и памяти но и ВВ/В. Я например использую тулзень AnVir (не путать с антивирусом). Она чётко показывет кто использует диск.
2) Если приходите к выводу что виноват именно Oracle (после остановки БД и т.д как я описал выше диски не дёргаются)
Проверьте шедулерные джобы, и гридовые джобы (они же dbсonsole) возможно работают какие то системные джобы. Например собирается системная статистика, или пишется AWWR статистика и т.п.

А вообще я в сервисах сразу ставлю все оракловые сервисы в мануал и запускаю только по необходимости.
