Народ кто юзает SpotLight for Oracle?
Или просто кто знает.
Постоянно мигает красным Dedicated Servers и Shared Servers
Server proceses - примерно под 100
Active Users - 2-3
В хелпе не указано какие параметры нужно менять что бы улучшить работу сервера. А то пользователи даже конектятся долго.
На старом серваке все было отлично! на 8И

Проблемма втом, что контекстная подсказка показывает Latch waits 3,52% non-idle waits time (к примеру), это значит, что между запросами ресурсов сесией и выделением ей их происходит задержка, т.е. количество Latch в системе ограничено не более 6 на один процессор а сесий в системе в твоём примере более 100 (я имею в виду не активные) и все они используют ресурсы которые делятся между ними с помощью Latch (зашелка) которая отделяет ресурс используемый сесией от других (память, процессорное время и т.п.), и не закомиченная сесия держит эти ресурсы не отдает их другим сесиям вот и ожидание. Кстати можешь увидеть эти сесии в закладке Activiti / Transactions.

DB_BLOCK_LRU_LATCHES

LRU latch contention has always been a source of frustration on multiprocessor machines; this parameter relieves much of the pain. Set it to your number of CPUs, and watch the MISSES and IMMEDIATE_MISSES columns in the V$LATCH table diminish. Obsolete in 9i.

В 9i этого параметра нет и Latches не как не задаётся, проблеммы с ним возникают на однопроцессорных серверах.

НЕ ПОНЯТНО !!!!
ИЛИ НЕ ТО!
В общем 1 пользователь что то начал делать и опять замигало!...
пониамю что это глупо звучит но сечас с БД работает только 1 пользователь (активен) всего на данный момент 11 серверных процессов включая собственно оракловые...
а latch waits - 20 % of non-idle wait time :((((
ПОМОГИТЕ!!!!!

Делов том что пользователи конектятся довольно долго и довольно медленно выполняются их запросы.
А какую вам инфу нужно предоставит скажем с помощью пакета spc...ораклового который позволяет делать снапшоты БД для их последующего анализа?

У тебя же есть SpotLight for Oracle, а внем ты можешь посмотреть все латчи в окне Activity/Latch activity по различным показателям отсортируешь проблемма будет видна.

Я бы уменьшил shared_pool раза в 2 и посмотрел бы насколько переиспользуются разобранные запросы. Что там с использованием связных переменных.

bind peremennie nado ispolzovat batenka pochasche.

s ispolzovaniem indeksov vrode problem net.
