Обрыл весь инет, нигде не могу найти файл php_ifx.dll для php5 везде для php4.
Подскажите, где его можно найти? или может у кого есть?

1. Попробуй установить последний IBM Informix CSDK.
2. Download the latest version of the PHP 5.2.x zip package and the collection of PECL modules zip packages from - http://www.php.net.
3. Extract the PHP zip package into an install directory.
4. Extract the collection of PECL modules zip package into the \ext\ subdirectory of your PHP installation directory.
5. Create a new file named php.ini in your installation directory by making a copy of the php.ini-recommended file.
6. Open the php.ini file in a text editor and add the following lines.
To enable the PDO extension and pdo_ibm driver:
extension=php_pdo.dll
extension=php_pdo_ibm.dll
To enable the informix extension
....

Можно установить XAMPP for Windows (XAMPP и XAMPP Add-Ons) - включает Apach + PHP ...
и добавить модули PECL.

Очень важный момент - To use PDO_INFORMIX, you must install the Informix ODBC driver, which is part of the IBM Informix Client SDK. The Informix Client SDK is located in the Informix installation media for most editions or it is available for download from http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/search.jsp?rs=ifxdl
