1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.
[root@onldb2 /]# ontape -a
Performing automatic backup of logical logs.
Please mount tape 1 on /usr/informix_log/log.bkp and press Return to continue ...
This tape contains no log data
При этом скрипт аларм шела начинает их писать но доходя до 32 к перестает, с выше названной ошибкой.
Сервер на котором это все происходит

# DYNAMIC_LOGS:
# 2 : server automatically add a new logical log when necessary. (ON)
# 1 : notify DBA to add new logical logs when necessary. (ON)
# 0 : cannot add logical log on the fly. (OFF)
#
# When dynamic logging is on, we can have higher values for LTXHWM/LTXEHWM,
# because the server can add new logical logs during long transaction rollback.
# However, to limit the number of new logical logs being added, LTXHWM/LTXEHWM
# can be set to smaller values.
#
# If dynamic logging is off, LTXHWM/LTXEHWM need to be set to smaller values
# to avoid long transaction rollback hanging the server due to lack of logical
# log space, i.e. 50 / 60 or lower.
#
# In case of system configured with CDR, the difference between LTXHWM and
# LTXEHWM should be atleast 30 % so that we could minimize log overrun issue.

08 : 21 : 19 Performance Advisory: Logical log file size might be too small for a
checkpoint to complete.
08 : 21 : 19 Results: The size of individual logical log files is too small for
the current workload, resulting in each log file filling very
quickly. If log files fill in less than 30 seconds, the checkpoint
might remain blocked because the last log file fills during the time
needed to perform the checkpoint.
08 : 21 : 19 Action: Increase the size of the individual logical log files so
that it takes at least 30 seconds to fill each one. Look at the
online log to determine how quickly the log files are filling, and
then increase the size of the files proportionately.
