Всем Здрасьте. начал разбираться с web сервисами в spring. скачал сэмплы отсюда https://code.google.com/p/spring-webservices-samples/source/checkout

не могу запустить их никак. использую STS.

скачал папку с сэмплами. в STS нажимаю import-> existing project into workspace
Что бы я не выбирал - пишет:no projects are found to import

надо было существующий maven project выбирать при открытии

всё таки никак не получается.
из среды я сделал site, что-то там скачалось.
из командной строки написал mvn exec:exec

как всё таки эти сэмплы запустить?

а как это в sts запустить?
какой результат то должен получиться?
чувствую себя мартышкой с очками

уже запустил это приложение на томкате, но не вижу никакого действия.
может это только сервер? может надо как-то запрос к сервису отправить?(первый раз с сервисами работаю)
в каких то дескрипторах может что-то пишут?

авторНужно в Эклипсе нажать средним пальцем правой руки на правую кнопку мышки и выбрать import и импортировать проект в workspace STS. После чего вам надо запустить это дело на сервере тем же пальцем :-)))

это у меня сделано. Но, что не удивительно, наверное, я ничего не вижу.

авторВам нужно найти .wsdl файл из которого Вы сможете создать клиента для тестирования вашего сервера либо грузануть в SOAPUI и просто тупо позапускать запросы на ваш сервер.
1.Как создать клиента по известному wsdl?
2.как можно позапускать запросы на сервер?(как то через браузер?)
