Hi, gurus We are getting the below error (on 12.5.0.1 32 bits - raw version, I guess), but not on (12.0.0.8 -64 bits - mature version, I guess) Does somebody know was it fixed later (12.5.1-4 ?), tried flag -T4416 - did not help. > 00:00000:00078:2006/08/25 15:47:31.39 server Error: 4416, Severity: 19, State: 1 > 00:00000:00078:2006/08/25 15:47:31.42 server Could not allocate a work table while processing views. In spite of the fact that the number of user tables and worktables that can be used for a query has been increased from 12.0 versions of Adaptive Server. In 12.0 versions, a query and any views used in a query could reference at most 16 user tables, and the number of worktables that could be created was 12. The limits are now (in 12.5 version ) - 50 user tables and 14 worktables. BUT it was possible that in ASE12.0 the server was re-using workatbles and hence you never hit the limit and the query plans would look different. In ASE12.5 server couldn't re-use workatbles. Only one issue in your case is rewrtite query. P.S. Trace flag T4416 doesn't relate to your problem. ... |
