The jConnect jdbc driver is part of SDK for SAP ASE.

SAP ASE interoperability with jConnect:

SAP ASE 12.5.4 - jConnect 5.5, jConnect 6.0.x
SAP ASE 15.0 - jConnect 5.5, 6.0.5
SAP ASE 15.5 - jConnect 5.5, 6.0.x, and 7.0.x
SAP ASE 15.7 - jConnect 6.0.x, and 7.0.x
SAP ASE 16.0 - jConnect 7.0, and 16.0
SAP SDK and jConnect versions:

SAP SDK 12.5.1 - comes with jConnect 5.5, contains jconn2.jar under the jConnect 5_5 subdirectory, works with java 1.3
SAP SDK 15.0 and 15.5 - comes with jConnect 6.0.5, contains jconn3.jar under the jConnect–6_0 subdirectory, works with java 1.4 and higher
SAP SDK 15.5 - comes with jConnect 7.0.0, contains jconn4.jar under the jConnect-7_0 subdirectory, works with java 1.6 and higher
SAP SDK 15.7 - comes with jConnect 7.0.7, contains jconn4.jar under the jConnect-7_0 subdirectory, works with java 1.6 and higher
