Кто нибудь знает automated tool(s) to convert C DB-Library application to
C Embedded SQL applicatin ?

Причины тут (неохота переводить, главное - ESQL одинаков для всех СУБД и яп), к тому же Sybase сделал ESQL позже, он гораздо проще и понятнее, делает все тоже самое.
(между прочим Oracle OCI имеет порядка 20 команд всего в сранении c 200 стлиб ASE, и нет эквиалента Oracle's obind)...
