Oracle Forms 10g. Forms Look and Feel project

This forty minute session is recommended for developers who want to change the look & feel or their Oracle Forms applications. The graphical characteristics are read from a CSS file, and then applied at runtime, allowing the developer to completely change the look of the application by just changing the tags in an external CSS file. Table blocks can, then, have an “HTML” look, images, lines, shapes and text can be dynamically added onto the canvases and you can also change the look of the common Forms widgets (menus, windows, buttons, lists, check boxes, status bar, etc.).

Target audience:
This seminar is primarily directed towards all Forms developers, but all attendees are welcome.

The web seminar duration is about 40 minutes.

* Discovering a tool able to give to the Oracle Forms applications another look and feel
* Seeing how Java Beans and PJCs can push the boundaries of the standard capacities
* Adding some new functions to the standard product
