Other day I noted how #IBM has more contributions to #Spark vs. #HortonWorks & #Cloudera combined (2nd to #databricks). Funny how the conversation used to go. BUT! #IBM is still pushing #Hadoop too. While ecosystems like ODPi help #BigSQL run on HortonWorks, general ecosystem contributions are important too. As of Aug. 31, 2016, IBM has 2x the contributions vs. 2015. It's pushing #Ambari to new & better places (especially in cloud).
