IBM® Informix® Dynamic Server has several functions that manipulate date and datetime types. You can exploit these functions to provide better processing and analysis of your business data. You can also add new functions that will simplify the solution of some date-based business problems. This updated version reflects some date processing related to the ISO 8601 standard.
