Копаюсь с проблемкой второй день пока не разрулил, может кто знает? Поставил DB2 в manual mode, то есть через db2_install т.о. юзверей делал сам, инстанс итп, все по guide, ни на йоту не отступал. Сама БД (инстанс) работает fine, а вот администратор БД когда пытаюсь запустить его db2admin start ругается: SQL1092N dasusr1 does not have the authority to perform the requested command. И когда создаешь администратора тоже так ругается но все же создает. Сегодня еще выяснил одну новость: под root удалось его запустить! Но вот остановить не получается: SQL22201N
The DB2 Administration Server failed to authenticate the user root on the host hostname. Reason code "5". ну это понятно, т.е. The DB2 Administration Server is unable to process requests submitted as the root user.
Че только не пробовал.. И в DASADM_GROUP ставил dasadm1 явно - без толку. Мож кто шарит где что зарыто и куда копать?

P.S. До этого на машине уже стояла DB2 но как то криво так что удалить нормально не получилось, пришлось вручную все сносить, все db2 пакеты и юзеров и папки. Я понимаю что причина скорее всего в этом, но вот в чем конкретно? Конечно можно все снести, переустановить ОС, но блин хотелось бы найти причину..

Опс а $DASHOME и не была установлена... Установил, экспортировал, все равно то же самое..

Короче ход моих действий в решении этой траблы:

/etc/group: dasadm1:!:997:dasusr1,db2inst1
/etc/passwd: dasusr1:!:1002:997::/home/dasusr1:/usr/bin/ksh

Убивать адм инстанс и создавать снова уже пробовал, я уже писал об этом, и когда дропаешь и создаешь ту же ошибку выдает SQL1092N dasusr1 does not have the authority to perform the requested command но все же дропает и создает а вот запускать и стоппить не работает.

Накатил fix pack 14.

Fixpack накатился fine. Instance обновился fine, а при попытке обновления администартивного инстанса под dasusr1 выдавало уже другую ошибку: SQL1042C An unexpected system error occurred, но обновило.

Instance поднялся fine (под db2inst1), но потом когда пробую поднять адм инстанс под dasusr1 опять выдает SQL1042C An unexpected system error occurred.

И опять та же ситуация с root: под ним адм инстанс запускается fine но не стоппится по понятной причине SQL22201N The DB2 Administration Server failed to authenticate the user "root" on the host "prodtsm". Reason code "5".

Последняя запись это когда я его снова поднял под root.

Тогда стал разбираться с юзверями и правами. Первое что я сделал это добавил dasusr1 во все группы в которых стоит root. До кучи! Заработало... Потом стал у него по одному отнимать привилегии.. Таким образом методом исключения натолкнулся на то что когда у него не остается привилегии security начинается такая ботва. Хотя все равно до конца непонятно почему т.к. вообще то и без security должно работать (на др серверах dasusr1 входит только в dasadm1 & staff). Вобщем пока трабла решилась но если кто что подскажет кто крутой в DB2 for UNIX like OS'es то буду очень признателен.

я же привел выдержки из /etc/group & /etc/passwd то что касается dasusr1:

/etc/group: dasadm1:!:997:dasusr1,db2inst1
/etc/passwd: dasusr1:!:1002:997::/home/dasusr1:/usr/bin/ksh

весь /etc/group показать?
