A WebSphere MQ extended transactional client is a WebSphere MQ client with some additional function. This function enables a client application, within the same unit of work:

* To put messages to, and get messages from, queues that are owned by the queue manager to which it is connected
* To update the resources of a resource manager other than a WebSphere MQ queue manager

Custom disc installation instructions

1. Log on as root.
2. Mount the disc device using the appropriate mount point (e.g., /mnt/disc).
3. Create a temporary directory and change to that directory.
4. Type unzip /mnt/disc/mqt5302s/mqt5302s.zip and press Enter to uncompress the file.
5. Before beginning the installation, refer to csqzar00.pdf.
6. Run TXClient/mqlicense.sh to view MQ Extended Transactional Client license agreement.
7. Run pkgadd -d TXClient/mqs530.img to install MQ Extended Transactional Client.
