Stereotype Configuration File



A stereotype configuration file defines a set of stereotypes, including the location of icon files as well as settings that affect the usage and display of the defined stereotypes. Typically, the extension of a stereotype configuration file is .ini, but any extension is allowed.
Each stereotype configuration file needs to be located in the Rational Rose installation folder, defined by the InstallDir registry value, and listed in the StereotypeCfgFiles registry section.

Note: It is recommended that you add any new stereotypes to the default stereotype configuration file, DefaultStereotypes.ini.

Below is a sample configuration file. The sample displays all of the available settings, but the default settings are typically all you need. Select a setting for an explanation of its possible values.
