пытаюсь на убунту поставить бету Poatgresql-8.3beta1

Стянул, распаковал в какой-то каталог, пустил ./configure
что можно сделать?

что не понятно, то?

поставить Bison и Flex (если есть потребность...)

и запустить с ключом -without-readline
to disable readline support.

мне бы надо установить PG8.3 beta, но не нахожу пакета для установки.
решил построить...
