SVG в ImageView

Здравствуйте.

Прошу помощи в решении проблемы.
Необходимо загружать изображения в формате svg на android-устройстве.

Скачал и установил библиотеку - androidsvg-1.2.2-beta-1.jar
Установил её в Project Structure
Создал папку raw и в нее положил файл а236904.svg
Пробую вот такой код. Ошибок он не выдает, но и результата тоже нет.

После неудачных попыток попробовал загрузить "родной" формат PNG строкой
imageView.setImageResource(R.drawable.ic_launcher);
Печально, но ситуация не изменилась.
Создал проект с нуля, с одним единственным компонентом ImageView, работает.

Подскажите пожалуйста, что не правильно делаю ?

И да, вот еще что )))))))))

и не нужно библиотек для svg

ну только саппорт библы подрубить

Нашел формат для VectorDrawable.
Преобразовал свою svg-картинку.
В AndroidStudio в разметке написан код:

Картинка в AS, худо-бедно видна. Сам файл pic2.xml тоже просматривается.
Но при запуске эмулятора, ничего нет.

Пробовал и при создании активити писать строку - imageView.setImageResource(R.drawable.pic2);
Результата тоже нет.

Эмулятор создал под API-22 Lolipop (вроде только в этой версии можно использовать VectorDrawable)

Нет пока реального.

Похоже получилось. Вероятнее всего ручная конвертация прошла не совсем корректно.
Сконвертил по ссылке - http://a-student.github.io/SvgToVectorDrawableConverter.Web/
Получил файл XML, подложил его AS и все заработало.

PS. Теперь буду разбираться, что было не так. Жаль конечно, что это все только под Android 5+
...

Нашел шикарный метод решения проблемы - http://metanit.com/java/android/14.3.php

Попробовал проделать такой же финт, но неожиданная проблема.
При работе валиться в функции createDataBase() на строке
//получаем локальную бд как поток
myInput = mContext.getAssets().open(DATABASE_NAME);
Т.е. не может найти БД в папке assets. Пробовал класть в папки res/assets & res/assets/databases

Причем если класть просто в res/assets то при Rebuild Project начинает люто ругаться на кодировку файла и предлагает его конвертировать. Если согласиться, то файл портится безвозвратно, не открывается в SQLiteExpert'е.

Вопрос, почему AS не может увидеть файл в папке ?

PS. Есть мысть, что это надо где-то прописать, в неком файле настроек проекта (типа AndroidManifest или что-то подобного)

Понятно. Прошу прощения.

В общем решил проблему.
Оказалось, что папку assets надо помещать на том же уровне что и res, а не внутрь.

Вот собственно и все. Заработало.

...
