Задача: добавлять документ с <B>указанной пользователем версией</B>, а также сделать так, чтобы при сохранении файла, была возможность выбрать "сохранить как новую версию", "перезаписать файл в существующую версию".
По адресу: http://office.microsoft.com/ru-ru/sharepointtechnology/HA100215761049.aspx находится статья, в которой написано:

При наличии разрешений на удаление версий можно переписать второстепенную версию, заменив ее другой второстепенной. Например, можно переписать версию, если известно, что предыдущая содержит ошибку и ее не нужно сохранять.

Т.е., как я понял, тут невнятно написано что вроде бы как можно.

Вопрос: поддается ли такая задача решению, ну и, конечно, хотелось бы знать, как это делать?

В Microsoft.SharePoint есть класс SPFileVersionCollection и класс SPFileVersion. Только вот методов в ней необходимых мне не разглядел. Может проглядел?..

Is it possible to set the initial version of the document when it is uploaded
to a document library?

I have a heap of existing documents, which are soon to be managed with MOSS
document libraries. The business users would like to be able to continue the
version numbers from the current version.

For example, they may have a document which is currently version 12
When they upload this into the MOSS document library, they would like the
version number to be 12 initially, and then move on from there.

Is this possible? (a code solution would be OK)

Похоже, что никак.

Просмотрев библиотеку Microsoft.Sharepoint обнаружил, что все свойства касательно версии, являются readonly.
